Catherine is the principal psychologist and founder of Clear Psychology. She is an experienced psychologist who is warm, professional and committed to helping you navigate various challenges in your life. She acknowledges the importance of creating a safe therapeutic relationship that allows space for growth and clarity.
Catherine works collaboratively with you, tailoring therapy to your individual goals and needs. Her approach is integrative and grounded in attachment, relational and trauma informed frameworks, allowing her to adapt therapy in a way that feels safe, supportive, and meaningful. She draws on a range of evidence based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy.
She has experience and an interest in working with varying mental health concerns and presentations such as eating disorders, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, perinatal mental health and adjusting to major life transitions.
Catherine has over seventeen years of experience as a psychologist in private practice, public health and education. She brings her depth of experience to her therapy sessions, whilst maintaining an open curiosity and down to earth approach to being committed to being part of your therapeutic journey.
Catherine is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and Medicare Australia as a Medicare provider. She is a member of The Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI).
